Transforming space, elevating atmosphere

The Brunswick Hotel Gaming Lounge marks the transformation of a former bottle shop into a warm and inviting new gaming room, thoughtfully positioned beside the existing sports bar. The vision was to create a space that felt naturally connected to the energy of the bar, while still offering its own distinct sense of comfort and character. Working closely with our client and project architect, the goal was to deliver a seamless, guest-focused experience that felt intentional from every angle.

The existing space required a complete reimagining, yet it was essential that the transition from sports bar to gaming lounge felt effortless. A distinctive architectural portal now frames the connection between the two areas, creating a clear and welcoming threshold that makes the lounge feel like a true extension of the venue.

Inside, layered lighting plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere. Bespoke indirect curved lighting features, concealed LED strips, and soft mood wall lights work together to create depth and warmth. Custom arched timber panelling continues the arch motif introduced at the entrance, reinforcing a cohesive design language throughout. Art deco-inspired carpet, soft arches, and bespoke gold wallpaper blend elements of old and new, adding richness and personality to the space. Ergonomic gaming chairs and integrated screens enhance comfort and functionality, while carefully placed planters introduce natural softness.

The result is a cohesive and comfortable gaming environment that elevates the overall venue experience — transforming an underutilised area into a vibrant, character-filled destination for guests.
