At NX Studio, we design spaces that support everyday life. Thoughtful, practical, and quietly joyful, our work is all about creating spaces that feel good to be in.
We’re a boutique interior design studio working across commercial, hospitality, and residential projects. By collaborating closely with our clients and consultants, we create spaces that are functional, considered, on budget, and genuinely enjoyable to inhabit (because great design shouldn’t come with unnecessary stress).
We believe good design should give back - to its community, to the environment, and to the every day users of the space. That means designing with care, listening closely, and letting real personalities and stories shape each space.
With close to two decades in the industry NX Studio was founded in 2018, born from a desire to step away from the traditional corporate model and create something with more soul, intention, and authenticity.

Meet the team

Nicola combines a love of nature with a thoughtful, purposeful approach to design. With close to two decades of experience, she has led high-end commercial and residential projects across Sydney and London, building expertise in concept development, technical design, planning, and project coordination.
Known for clear communication and careful delivery, Nicola works closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects run smoothly and are executed with precision. She is an Accredited Green Star Associate and is committed to sustainability and intentional design - creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional, and that genuinely support the way people live and work.
Outside the studio, Nicola enjoys time with family, being outdoors, and a daily yoga and meditation practice.

Lucy is a multidisciplinary designer who loves getting into the details—design, documentation, and the kind of thoughtful detailing that makes a space work beautifully in real life. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Diploma in Building Design, with experience across architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture.
Her project work spans everything from small residential designs to large public realm developments, including parks and planning, hospitality, commercial, and education projects. Lucy has worked with universities, local councils, state parks, and private clients, bringing the same care and curiosity to each brief, big or small.
She’s especially drawn to environmentally sustainable projects—developing tailored, practical solutions, using passive solar thinking, and creating flexible spaces that can shift and adapt as life (and needs) change.
