Nx Studio undertook a complete interior transformation of a former nightclub and pool room, converting the space into a contemporary office and meeting facility for the Redcape Hotel Group. Working closely with the client, the design team ensured the new space met the group’s operational needs while embracing the unique character of the original venue.

The open-plan office area was entirely reimagined to support flexible work styles. It features a mix of traditional bench-style workstations, large collaborative tables, and casual touchdown areas. Surrounding this central zone, the reception area, private offices, and meeting rooms blend modern furnishings with distinctive elements retained from the original fitout, adding character and continuity to the new environment.A highlight of the refurbishment is the meeting and function suite, which is built around the iconic bar from the original Minskys Nightclub. The bar has been tastefully refurbished, with part of it repurposed into a kitchen and breakout area for staff. The remaining nightclub space now accommodates versatile meeting and function rooms, quiet zones, training facilities, and a library – delivering a rich variety of work and collaboration spaces.

This project has resulted in a distinctive and highly functional workspace that balances the heritage of its setting with the needs of a modern workplace.
